We should at the end of our Initial evaluation to be able to
tell your patients four things:
1. What are you treating,
2. What are you going to treat it with
3. How long will it take and
4. What percentage outcome to expect.
If you are a practicing clinician and you are having
difficulty advising your patients of any of the above, an
honest reflection on our abilities should be at hand.
